Lenovo ThinkCentre M720s Dolby DAX API Service Error

It has become increasingly common to encounter the following error in classrooms utilizing Lenovo M720s devices.

In most cases, reports indicate that the device will shut down unexpectedly.

When responding to reports of devices shutting down without warning, first confirm the specific model of the device.

If the device is an M720s, proceed with the steps below to determine whether the Dolby DAX API Service has terminated unexpectedly.

Run Event Viewer as administrator
Expand "Windows Logs"
Click "System"
Select "Create Custom View"
From the custom view field, select Critical and Error from the list of "Event Levels", then click OK.
Click on each individual Error and check to see if it states The Dolby DAX API Service has terminated unexpectedly. If you find that error, we will need to remove the GPU from the M720s.
